Rebecca School is a developmental program that utilizes the DIRFloortime method, a relationship-based model of teaching instruction developed by Dr. Stanley Greenspan. Rebecca School is opening a new location in Mount Vernon, NY for the 2024 school year and is seeking an Administrative Services / Transportation Coordinator to support bussing, reception, daily operations and the students' social, emotional and academic growth. Rebecca School North works with students age 3 to 21 with neurodevelopmental delays in relating, communicating and thinking, and is an expansion of the Rebecca School in NYC after 18 successful years of serving students with neurodevelopment delays in relating and communicating.

Pay Range is $45,000 to $55,000 depending on degree and experience (based on 12-month position) 


  • Bussing coordination, including bussing applications for students, creation and maintenance of bus lists, organizing transportation for field trips, and the handling of bus-related complaints from staff, parents and students
  • Create, maintain and ensure proper staffing for arrival and departure of students during bussing
  • Frequent maintenance of class lists
  • Address inquiries from families and visitors regarding basic school information (school schedule, contacting staff, etc.) effectively and efficiently
  • Ensure the front desk and waiting area is tidy and welcoming for visitors; check visitors in and out according to security procedures 
  • Receive and distribute mail and packages to appropriate parties; schedule messenger pick-ups and deliveries
  • Answer telephones and provide callers and visitors with proper information
  • Abide by rules of confidentiality
  • Aid in the maintenance of all administrative equipment including copiers, printers, computers and phones
  • Perform clerical duties as needed, including copying, faxing, etc. 
  • Professional and courteous relationships with all staff members, parents and students
  • Safety of students at all times


  • Experience with the DIRFloortime method (or open to learning it)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with students, staff and parents
