Your Role as a Math Teacher
- Lead Instruction – Teach assigned classes as scheduled, creating engaging lessons that align with Sage Alliance’s curriculum and educational philosophy.
- Create a Supportive Classroom – Build an emotionally safe, structured environment that meets the academic and social-emotional needs of each student.
- Differentiate Learning – Use varied instructional methods and materials to match individual student strengths and learning styles.
- Assess and Communicate Progress – Regularly evaluate student performance, maintain accurate records, and share updates with families and team members.
- Promote Positive Behavior – Establish and consistently enforce fair, respectful classroom expectations.
- Collaborate and Grow – Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and the teacher evaluation process to support schoolwide goals and continuous improvement.
- Engage with the Community – Attend key school events and remain available to students and families for support and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey teacher certification (General Education K-12)
- Certificate and/or experience in subject area(s) and grade level(s) to be taught
- Bachelor’s Degree
