For over 35 years, Rivermont Schools has provided therapeutic education to students ages 5-22 in grades K-12 who have autism spectrum disorder (ASD), behavioral challenges, or learning difficulties in traditional school settings. Our team of educators, behavior specialists, and therapists work together to provide individualized support that helps students achieve their milestones and transition back to their home schools.

Your Role as a Career Coach
- Support Vocational & Transitional Programming – Help build and sustain a comprehensive vocational program for students, fostering career readiness and independence.
- Lead the Vocational Committee – Organize, facilitate, and guide the committee’s work to align with program goals and student outcomes.
- Create Internal Student Opportunities – Design and manage school-based experiences that provide students with practical work-related skills.
- Develop Community Partnerships – Identify and connect with external organizations to secure volunteer, internship, and job-shadowing opportunities for students.
- Coordinate W!se Testing – Oversee the administration and logistics of the W!se Financial Literacy Certification program.
- Provide CPR/First Aid Training – Serve as a certified trainer to ensure staff and student readiness for emergency situations.
- Facilitate Community-Based Instruction (CBI) – Plan and lead off-campus trips that help students apply skills in real-world settings.

You have a high school diploma or equivalent

- Lead in Safety Training – You are or are open to becoming a certified CPR/First Aid trainer, contributing to a safe and prepared school community.
