Job Title: Licensed Clinician (LSW/LCSW/LAC or LPC)
Location: Harrington Park, NJ 07640
Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday). Beginning August 25th for the 25/26 school year.
Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 base salary.

Job Responsibilities:
- Help students and families gain insight into their difficulties and facilitate change by conducting individual, group and family psychotherapy
- Provide crisis intervention psychotherapy as needed to address emergent situations during the school day
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments as part of the intake/referral process, discharge summaries, transition planning and goal progress
- Maintain student’s clinical file by recording entries of treatment sessions, completing treatment plans and progress reports, and providing information on goal progress in relevant documentation such as IEP’s, I&RS plans, and 504 plans
- Prepare discharge summaries and mid-year and end-of-year clinical summaries
- Prepare clinical presentations for staff meeting regarding issues pertinent to presenting needs
- Support educational staff through clinical intervention and sharing of knowledge
- Attend staff meetings and school-related functions as requested
Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Possess an active LAC, LSW, LPC or LCSW in New Jersey.
- Understanding and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and needs of students and families.
- Knowledge of developmental theory and interventions with students, groups and families.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in counseling and education.
Preferred/Nice to Have:
- Previous experience working in a school setting, ideally as an LAC, LSW, LPC or LCSW.
- Proven ability to effectively manage crises and implement de-escalation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students, especially those with special needs.
- Demonstrated understanding of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development and implementation.
