Special Education Teacher (2025 – 2026 SY) 

Location: Stamford, CT

Employment Type: Full-time, in person teaching position for the 2025 – 2026 school year.  

Salary:Base salary ranging from $60,000.00 to $65,000.00, depending on education and experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Engaging Instruction: Design and deliver creative, tailored lesson plans that align with student goals, using a variety of teaching strategies to keep students engaged and motivated.
  • Student Progress: Track and document student progress, including grades, behavior data, and other assessments, to inform instruction and drive goal achievement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with students, families, team members, and school districts to ensure the best outcomes for each student.
  • Parent Communication: Partner with parents to encourage involvement and maintain open lines of communication.

 

Role Requirements

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Spanish education, Spanish, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Teaching Experience: 2+ years teaching experience or working with middle school and high school aged students
  • Location: Must be able to work on-site in Stamford, CT
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
