- Compensation: Base salary ranging from $60,000.00 to $65,000.00, depending on education and experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Participate as a member of the Planning and Placement Team (PPT) and develop and implement an annual Individualized Education Program (IEP) through the development of the Present Levels of Performance, appropriate goals, and objectives.
- Monitor student progress through tracking and assessing student development, making necessary adjustments to keep them on the path to success.
- Responsible for managing challenging behaviors and implementing behavior support plans.
- Cultivate open and positive lines of communication with students and parents regarding academic, social and emotional progress and development, as well as maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues.
- Advocate for students ensuring compliance with educational laws and advocate for the rights and needs of students with disabilities.
- Create a positive and engaging learning space where every student feels supported and can thrive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in special education, education or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong experience in creating, implementing, and managing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Possesses a collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for Special Education through patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students with special needs succeed.
Preferred/Nice-to-have:
- Master’s degree in special education, education or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
