 Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Partner with leadership team and use data analytics to develop, implement, and evaluate a human resources strategy to achieve the organization’s vision, mission, and goals.
  • Partner with the talent acquisition team on recruitment efforts to ensure that the organization is identifying critical talent needs, while effectively and efficiently sourcing and selecting the right candidates. 
  • Create and implement systems to support career development initiatives and provide coaching to enhance employee skills and performance. Engage leadership in succession planning.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Total Rewards to implement and refine benefits, compensation, and total rewards strategies. Provie actionable feedback based on employee input and industry trends to enhance the effectiveness and competitiveness of reward programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and employee needs.
  • Identify ways to increase staff retention and productivity, including strategies to enhance employee engagement, leadership and staff development, regular feedback and coaching, career pathing, and promoting a coherent organizational culture.
  • Collaborate with the learning and develop team to develop manager’s skills and competencies in areas related to human resources.   Provide proactive training and guidance, clear processes for managing employee conflicts and misconduct, and handling and investigating complaints of unjust practice allegations.
  • Lead the administration of the performance management process, ensuring that managers are equipped to engage in constructive and ongoing feedback and coaching, and encourage staff to actively participate in identifying and addressing performance gaps.
  • Ensure compliance with human resources related federal, state, and local legal requirements and advise the leadership team on needed actions to maintain compliance.
  • Perform routine compliance audits to recognize strengths and identify areas in need of improvement related to hiring and onboarding, performance management, compensation, termination and exit interviews, and personnel files.
  • Maintain current knowledge and application of all relevant laws and regulations at the local, state, and national level relating to employment and ensure organizational compliance.
  • Support the design and enforcement of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances with a focus on conflict resolution and maintaining a positive work environment. Promote effective communication and foster strong relationships between employees and administration/leadership.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team and the Senior Director of Total Rewards to design and implement a competitive compensation system to attract and retain staff.
  • Lead and develop the human resources team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Oversee HR staff, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental goals are met.

  • Outstanding judgment, sensitivity, and high discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR system applications.
  • Must be able to travel to other office locations as needed.
