Office Manager

New Story Schools is seeking an Office Manager that will assist in activities related to personnel, payroll and other general office management duties. Our team has an opening for an energized professional that is adept to changing environments and has experience in Human Resources.

Job Responsibilities | What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform customer service responsibilities by responding to external (vendor, parents, etc.) and internal (employee) requests and questions
  • Serve as liaison to the HR Department, including assist employees and supervisors with the resolution of employee relations issues
  • Assist with monitoring of compliance with employee training requirements and recording training attendance into HRIS
  • Support recruitment & interview process, new hire orientation and with verifying I-9 documentation
  • Review all required time and attendance reports to identify missed punches, issues with time worked, etc.
  • Responsible for oversight of IEP scheduling and coordination, planning of school events and other related activities
  • Maintain student confidentiality in accordance with company policy and FERPA/HIPAA Privacy Rule regulations
  • Responsible for the inventory of, and purchase of office and related supplies, as necessary
  • Perform general and clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, maintaining files, filing, running errands, etc.

 

Qualifications | What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field highly preferred.
  • At least one year experience in human resources or related field required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
