Senior Director of Behavioral and Clinical Services

New Story School is an educational organization comprised of special education schools in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students diagnosed with autism or emotional/behavioral disorders. Our multidisciplinary teams collaborate with families, school districts and community partners to empower children in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives.

  • Ensure compliance with Department of Education Regulations and PA school code
  • Coordinate initiatives and implementation of projects in all New Story Schools locations
  • Project training needs and coordinate training for staff to increase skill development
  • Develop presentations for conferences
  • Provide support, guidance, and supervision to Academic and Clinical administrators in all school locations
  • Oversee MTSS implementation and fidelity in all school locations
  • Lead for BACB ACE trainings and maintaining our status as a BACB provider
  • Facilitate standardization of practices within each region and in organization.
  • Travel to various school locations across the state as necessary
  • Collaborate with other members of the Senior Director leadership team
  • Support the Vice President’s goals and initiatives


  • Must possess knowledge of PA Department of Education Regulations
  • Must possess advanced knowledge of Applied Behavior Analyst and behavior modification concepts
  • Must possess knowledge of mental health and social skills curriculum development for children with special education needs.
  • Must have knowledge of child development and common behavioral disorders exhibited by children and adolescents
  • Must possess the ability to establish and maintain relationships with school districts and members of the community.
  • Must have strong leadership, communication, time management and organizational skills.
  • Must display a professional appearance and demeanor.


  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analyst, Counseling, Education, or related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • PA professional license or certification in Counseling (LPC, LSW, LCSW, Certified School Counselor)
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience working in the special education
  • Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in an educational system
